INDEPENDENCE DAY Celebration

Date: 15.08.2018      Venue: G. Venkataswamy Naidu College 

72^nd Independence day was celebrated with gaiety and patriotic fervour. The Principal Dr. S. Krishnasamy hoisted our national flag and delivered his independence day message to the participants.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP

Date: 13.08.2017      Venue: G. Venkataswamy Naidu College, Seminar Hall.

A Blood Donation Camp was organized on 13.08.2018 in connection with College Parton’s Day. The blood donation drive was organised in collaboration with Primary Health Centre, Ilayarasanendal and Government Hospital Blood Bank. The camp was inaugurated by our College Principal Dr. S. Krishnasamy. About 74 students registered for blood donation, out of which, 50 candidates were able to donate blood as the donors went through a series of medical checkups before donating blood.   

Breast Feeding & Dengue Awareness Campaign

          As part of the ‘World Breastfeeding Week’ celebrations, awareness campaigns on the importance of breastfeeding was organised. Chief Guest Dr. Gurusamy, Medical Officer, Primary Health Centre, Pointed out the benefits of breastfeeding.  Mr. Balasubramanian, Health Inspector also took part in the function and created awareness about Dengue.
