Awareness Camp at Kurumali Temple Premises




Date:14.04.2019           Venue:  Kurumalai Hills

          Volunteers made an awareness rally at Kurumalai Ayyanar Temple. The participants carried placards and educated the people on the importance of keeping the holy shrines neat and clean. In the entrance check post they helped the Forest official to screen the vehicles and seized the carry bags.


Mass Cleaning Camp at Kurumali Temple Premises

 In connection with Chithirai Festival mass cleaning camp was conducted at Kurumalai Hills Temple premises in collaboration with Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology & Environment (ATREE), Venkatewara Hospital and Forest Department. Forest Ranger Mr. Sivaram, ATREE Research co-ordinator Mr. Mathivanan and Dr. Damodaran participated in the cleaning camp. 53 volunteers were participated in the camp. Volunteers removed nearly 500kg plastic wastes and 3000 liquor bottles. 



100% Voting Awareness Campaign

To mark 100% voting in the upcoming Parliament Election we conducted an a “Street Play” for duration of 15 mts and a folk songs to create awareness to our students.


GENERAL MEDICAL CHECK UP FOR STUDENTS

A free General medical check up was conducted jointly by NSS Units and Health Club.  Dr. D. Balasubramaniam, Government Hospital, Kovilpatti and his team examine students and gave consultant.

BONE MASS SCREENING MEDICAL CAMP

A free Bone Mass Density Screening medical camp was conducted jointly by NSS Units and Sri. Venkateswara Hospital, Kovilpatti. Over 75 staff members, 10 public from nearby village were  screened by Dr. N. Dhamodharan and her team.
