WORKSHOP ON “MUSHROOM
CULTIVATION”
Date: 18,01,2017 Venue: G. Venkataswamy Naidu College.
NSS Units 51 & 52 organized an one day
hands on training workshop on ‘ MUSHROOM CULTIVATION, in collaboration with Entrepreneur
Development Cell, for the NSS Volunteers and Local village people. Mr. R.
Govindarajan, Senior Researcher, Department of Entomology, Loyola College,
Chennai conducted the workshop. In the inaugural session. Mrs. G. Adhilakshmi,
Principal i/c delivered presidential address, Mr. G. Venkatachalapathy,
Director (SFC) delivered felicitation. Trainer Mr. R. Govindarajan demonstrated
Mushroom Growing House Demonstration, Practical demonstration, theory and audio
video presentation. In the valedictory
function Mr. R. Pradeep John, Manager,
Personal Loan, State Bank of India, Kovilpatti issued the certificates to the
participants. Later, Mrs. D. Jeyabharathi, Convener of Entreprenurship
Developmental Cell delivered felicitation address. Totally 100 NSS volunteers
and 25 villagers participated in this workshop.
