In connection with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s Birthday, Youth awakening day
was celebrated at Government Higher Secondary School, Ilayarasanendal. NSS
Volunteers Ms. Vijayalakshmi and Ms. Preethisha narrated the story of Dr.
A.P.J. Abdul Kalam to the students. A short film about Dr. A. P.J. Abdul Kalam
was shown to the students. Tree saplings were also planted in the campus.
