A leprosy awareness camp was organized in connection with world leprosy day. Dr. Gurusamy, Medical Officer, Ilayarasanendal created awareness about leprosy and elaborated on the various welfare measures available to patients. Later, leprosy pledge was taken by the Volunteers and guest. The NSS Volunteers actively interacted with doctors and understood the importance of removing the social stigma attached to leprosy patients.
