Awareness Programme on Swatch Bharath & Gandhian Thoughts And Snake Bite Awareness

Date:10.11.2018 Venue: Parvathi High School, Iluppaiyurani.

In connection with 150^th Birth Anniversary of Mahathma Gandhi, to inculcate Gandhian thoughts and Swatch Bharath in the young minds, NSS Unit 51 organised a theme puppet show in the above mentioned School. Our NSS Volunteer Mr. Kalaiselvan did the puppet show; rest of the volunteers extended their support. This show emphasized about clean India movement, forgiveness and calmness. Later students took clean India and Gandhian Peace pledge developed by Gandhi Peace Foundation, Chennai.

Snake bite awareness was also conducted about great four Indian snake bites to school students. Laminated materials about snake bite first aid handed over to the School Head Mistress.

SMOKELESS DIWALI CELEBRATIONS & NILAVEMBU KUDI NEER DISTRIBUTION

Date: 02.11.2018 Venue: Government Higher Secondary School, Ilayarasanendal.

In order to minimize the air pollution smokeless Diwali was celebrataed by students of Government Higher Secondary School students by lighting the mud lamps and taking the Diwlai pledge. Awareness was created to other students by holding placards with slogans mentioning the Diwali responsibilities and with minimal environmental consequence. Later Nilavembu Kudineer was distributed to all the students and staff of the school. Dr. Gurusamy, Medical officer, PHC Ilayarasanendal inaugurated the distribution and created awareness about Dengue among students.
