In connection with 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahathma
Gandhi, to inculcate Gandhian thoughts and Swatch Bharath in the young minds,
NSS Unit 51 organised a theme puppet show in the above mentioned School. Our
NSS Volunteer Mr. Kalaiselvan did the puppet show; rest of the volunteers
extended their support. This show emphasized about clean India movement,
forgiveness and calmness. Later students took clean India and Gandhian Peace
pledge developed by Gandhi Peace Foundation, Chennai.
Snake bite awareness was also
conducted about great four Indian snake bites to school students. Laminated materials about snake bite first
aid handed over to the School Head Mistress.
