In order to minimize the air pollution smokeless Diwali was celebrataed by students
of Government Higher Secondary School students by lighting the mud lamps and
taking the Diwlai pledge. Awareness was created to other students by holding
placards with slogans mentioning the Diwali
responsibilities and with minimal environmental consequence. Later Nilavembu Kudineer was distributed to all the students and staff of the
school. Dr. Gurusamy, Medical officer, PHC Ilayarasanendal inaugurated the
distribution and created awareness about Dengue among students.
