Venue: Kurumalai Hills
In connection with Chithirai Festival mass
cleaning camp was conducted at Kurumalai Hills Temple premises in collaboration
with Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology & Environment (ATREE),
Venkatewara Hospital and Forest Department. Forest Ranger Mr. Sivaram, ATREE
Research co-ordinator Mr. Mathivanan and Dr. Damodaran participated in the
cleaning camp. 60 volunteers were participated in the camp. Volunteers removed
nearly 500kg plastic wastes and 3000 liquor bottles.
